Sentinelle
A joint project of the Italian and French defense ministries that was given the name Sentinelle. The Char Lourd AP 58 was used as the basis for the vehicle and the turret and armament were Italian, while the optics and comms equipment were French. The tank was intended to have a fairly low silhouette and powerful armament. However, due to ammo standardization under NATO, the vehicle was no longer needed. The project was terminated before a prototype was built.
